Wyclef Jean ft. Eve- "Suicide Love"

Here’s a new track from Wyclef Jean called “Suicide Love” featuring Eve off of that new mixtape, From the Hut, To The Projects, To The Mansion, with DJ Drama dropping November 10.

Suicide Love ft. Eve

Gucci Mane ft. Lil Wayne, Jadakiss, BIrdman- "Wasted" Remix

Weezy, Kiss and Birdman are recruited for the remix to his street single “Wasted". Thealbum, "The State vs. Radric Davis" hits stores on DecemBURR 8th. I hate myself for typing that....smh

Wasted Remix ft. Lil Wayne, Jadakiss, Birdman

Game ft. Gucci Mane, Timbaland- "Krazy"

This is Game's street single for the upcoming "R.E.D." album. It's produced by Timbaland and like I just said - JUST a street single. The official single will feature Chris Brown and will be dropping shortly. Can Game make a major comeback after his semi-hiatus from the industry? His chances are pretty long as he keeps Jay's name out his mouth.

Lil Wayne- I'm Goin In (Solo Version)

Here goes an alternate version of the Drake/Wayne/Jeezy joint that now only features Lil Wayne. New verses added to the one we’ve heard before.

Ludacris- "How Low"

Luda goes for it on the latest joint from his upcoming album, "Battle of the Sexes".

Alicia Keys- "Sleeping With A Broken Heart"

Not to be confused with John Mayer's “Dreaming With A Broken Heart” ,this is the second joint off Alicia Keys’ 4th album "The Element Of Freedom" coming December 15th.

Diddy/Dirty Money ft. The Notorious B.I.G.- "Angels"+Video

The first single from Diddy's Dirty Money crew,(one of them is Dawn from the now defunct Danity Kane) off his upcoming "Last Train To Paris" album. A pretty hot track combining Jay-Z's "Where I'm From" beat and some lyrics from the great B.I.G. And most importantly, we have Diddy singing and sounding like a decent singer. How often does that happen to any rapper/producer not named Kanye? I gotta admit it. I'M REALLY FELLING THIS ONE.

Kevin Casey- "Live From New York: 1994-2001"

Now this here is something I HAVE to love. This is the type of gritty, New York rap that nobody but me and a few others was on in high school. I quickly found myself remembering and reciting damn near every song on here, word for word. GOOD. QUALITY. GRADE A. NEW YORK HIP HOP IN ALL OF IT'S LATE 90s GLORY. GET SOME!!! Thank you Kevin Casey for putting this mixtape together.

Kevin Casey- Live From New York: 1994-2001

Chris Brown ft. Swizz Beatz, Lil Wayne- "I Can Transform Ya" Video

Officially back in the saddle...

Fall Out Boy- "Alpha Dog"

"Alpha Dog" is Fall Out Boy's first single from their greatest hits album "Believers Never Die: Greatest Hits".

It first appeared as a demo on Welcome to the New Administration as "ALPHAdog and OMEGAlomaniac". The song was re-recorded and redubbed in full. The Greatest Hits album the song resides upon will be released worldwide November 17.

Alpha Dog

Rihanna- Russian Roulette

The anticipated first single (written by Ne-Yo) from Rihanna’s new Rated R album is finally here. It is set to drop November 23rd as part of Universal’s “Super Monday” lineup which will have releases by Timbaland, 50 Cent, Lady Gaga, Birdman and Jay Sean. The Drake featured track is supposed to drop soon.

Russian Roulette

Gucci Mane ft. Usher- "Spotlight"

Now, I've never been a major fan of Gucci Mane. But, even I have to admit that this Polow Da Don produced track
will be a major radio/club hit. Is it because of Gucci? Is it because of Usher? I don't know. But, it's very chick-friendly and catchy. I'm sure that all the Gucci fans will like his sure to come rise to headline status with tracks like this.

Gucci Mane's "The State Vs Radric Davis" is expected to be released in December.

Spotlight ft. Usher

New Music... 10.27.09

Ok, so this new music update is all over the place. Whether it's new Soulja Boy with Drake,Motion City Soundtrack, Amerie with Fabolous or Orianthi, THIS update is the definition of ECLECTIC. Download yourself some goods.

Young Money- Let's Go Crazy
Orianthi- According To You
Soulja Boy ft. Drake- Play Ball
Keri Hilson- I Like
Motion City Soundtrack- Disappear
Amerie ft. Fabolous- More Than Love
Tyga ft. Lloyd- Party Girl

Wale ft. John Mayer- "Letter"

So regardless of the constant stream of hate that goes Wale's way, I've heard very, very good things from Wale so far. I know he doesn't have the crossover appeal of Kid Cudi or Asher Roth at this point, but I do truly believe "Pretty Girls" could be a clutch single.
Since this won’t be on the album, consider this for archival purposes only. Over a beautiful drum pattern by Ronson, Wale goes beyond the usual lyrical fair to show his range, reciting a few clever verses.

Letter ft. John Mayer

Lady Gaga- "Bad Romance"

Bad Romance is Gaga's first single from the upcoming re-release of the album, "The Fame", titled "The Fame Monster". The track was produced by RedOne.

The Incomparable Shakespeare...

A couple of leaks from Shakespeare's "British Invasion" project using two REALLY popular British songs. Pretty well done too. His voice and Adele's mesh pretty well.

Hometown ft. Adele

Timbaland ft. Drake- "Say Something"

Another day, another Timbaland leak. Who’s really surprised at this point? Anyways, this particular track looks to be the bread n’ butter from Shock Value 2 a.k.a. the main reason to actually purchase the album. Drizzy Drake provides all vocal highlights with a nifty verse and chorus over Timbo’s hypnotic arrangement of high-priced studio equipment. Gotta love it.

Say Something ft. Drake

New Music... 10.25.09

Sunday Music Update! As usual, I'm giving up the latest songs by some artists you know and some you don't. Including a song from Eminem that didn't make the cut on the first "Relapse", but will likely end up on DJ Hero: Renegades Edition video game. And the Lupe track is said to be on the "Twilight: New Moon" soundtrack. Should be good exposure for Lupe. Also, Kardinal's unofficial remix of RiRi's new song and a remix of my new favorite 50 Cent track, adding Gucci Mane. BUUURRRRR

50 Cent ft. Gucci Mane- Crime Wave Remix
Rihanna ft. Kardinal Offishall- Russian Roulette Remix (unofficial)
Eminem- Taking My Ball
N.E.R.D. ft. Santigold
Lupe Fiasco- Solar Midnite

New Music... 10.22.09

Massive Music Blowout! As usual, I'm giving up the latest songs by some of the most wanted artists. This update focuses on Southern hip hop. Whether it's The Clipse hooking up with "The Bawse" Rick Ross, Mimi using old Jermaine Dupri approved beats or The Dream shouting out his town in every song he writes (Umbrella-Ella-Ella- A! A! A!). You can not make a bad choice. Drink it in!

Birdman ft. Drake, Lil Wayne- Money To Blow
Shawty Lo ft. The Dream, Ludacris, Gucci Mane- A-Town
Juvenile ft. Pleasure P- Hands On You
Juvenile ft. Gucci Mane- Gotta Get It
T.I.- Hell Of A Life
Big Boi (of OutKast) ft. Gucci Mane- Shine Blockas
Lloyd ft. Pusha T (of Clipse)
Mariah Carey ft. Gucci Mane, Big Boi (Of OutKast), OJ Da Juiceman- H.A.T.E.U. Remix
Clipse ft. Pharrell, Rick Ross- I'm Good Remix

Amerie Remixes...

Lloyd Banks jumps on a pretty nice duet here with Trey Songz. And a couple bonus cuts. "Why R U" is a favorite of mine, as far as remixes go. Nas has one of his better verses of the year.

Pretty Brown Eyez Remix ft. Lloyd Banks, Trey Songz
Why R U Remix ft. Nas, Jadakiss, Rick Ross, Kain
Heard It All ft. Lil Wayne

Lil Wayne Double Play

Here are 2 new tracks from Weezy off of that No Ceilings mixtape thats coming on the 31st.

And on a side note, Weezy better hope Drake can hold his lil crew of upstarts together for the time he is away. The guilty plea stems from an incident in New York in 2007, after police found a .40 caliber handgun during a search of his tour bus. New York charges are no joke! It could've been worse. It could've been the 3 1/2 years they originally wanted.

See you in 8-12 months, Mr. Carter.

Swag Surfin

Timbaland Double Play

Two new tracks off of Timbo's new album, "Shock Value 2." The original "Shock Value" did some great numbers, with the help of crossover tracks, MAJOR radio play, big name artists, and artists who turned into big name artists (Keri Hilson). Shock Value 2 is shaping up to be much of the same formula.

"Shock Value 2" expected to drop November 23.

Rumors ft. Keri Hilson, Jay-Z
Morning After Dark ft. Nelly Furtado, SoShy

These are the acoustic bonus tracks from the iTunes deluxe version of "Brand New Eyes". The album is pretty good too.

Ignorance (Acoustic)
Brick By Boring Brick (Acoustic)
Turn It Off (Acoustic)

I have no idea where this new "Konvict" music is coming from. I don't know if he has new material on the way. I don't know which artist from his camp (Lady Gaga,Colby O'Donis) will blow up next. I DO know that I kinda missed Akon being around with good songs all the time, so this is very welcome. And I expect "No More You" to get a lot of radio play if it makes it there.

What I don't know about? I don't know WHAT was going on at the MTV Awards Africa...

50 Cent- "Crime Wave"

New joint from 50's "Before I Self Destruct", due in November.

Fif seems to be getting back to his street shit on this. And better for him. If he can get back to what made him hot on "Get Rich Or Die Tryin", he could get back close to the top. Which would be more than welcomed instead of the watered down "Massacre" and "Curtis".

Crime Wave
Hard Rock ft. Ester Dean
Baby By Me ft. Ne-Yo

Joss Stone- "4 And 20"

Judging by the first two tracks I posted, Joss' 4th album, "Colour Me Free", sounds deeper and edgier. All the while, they’re still even more soulful, as Stone keeps the focus on her signature sassy sound by working with stripped down live instrumentation and production. Very smooth over this piano laced track. Personally, I've always liked her style. You may too. Give it a listen.

4 And 20

Asher Roth- C'Mon Baby Freestyle

Rocking over Saigon’s C’mon Baby, it’s still undecided if this will be featured on Ash's Greenhouse Effect 2.

Rik Smits (C'Mon Baby Freestyle)

Snoop Dogg...

Some more new stuff from Snoop. More than likely, all of these will find it's way on "Malice In Wonderland". Pretty good West Coast stuff from Uncle Snoop.

That's The Homie
Pimpin Ain't EZ ft. R. Kelly
World Of A Gangsta
Fuck Yeeah

R & B Double Play

First up, we have some new Ryan Leslie with "I Choose You". He's got a winner with this one. Not quite sure it'll be on the radio all the time, but a good one none the less.

His new album, "Transition", should be out November 3.

I Choose You

And we have some new Ne-Yo, saying some words that's usually hard to say for most.

Love U

KiD CuDi...

I realize his "Man On The Moon" album has been out for a while now, but I'm pushing this anyway. This song has kinda grown on me. Plus, what other rapper would team with MGMT and RATATAT? Hell, how many rappers even know who MGMT and RATATAT are? Mr. Day N' Nite has a real "I'm gonna be me, even if no one understands me, deal with it" kind of attitude. I can relate to that.

Pursuit Of Happiness ft MGMT, RATATAT
Up Up & Away

The Game- "Heaven"

New joint from Jayceon. Not sure if it will be on the album, "The R.E.D.", but it more than likely will be. Mainly because there hasn't been anything new from him on the interwebs. So you gotta start somewhere right?

"The R.E.D." is expected to be out on December 1.

How The Hell Do You Get This Drunk?

John Mayer- "Who Says" Video

Off his new album, coming November 17.

Thom Yorke- "Hearing Damage"

This year’s major "kiddie-vampire" film seems to have an electronica flavor with it’s lead single “Hearing Damage.” The kicks and high hats Thom Yorke uses have a Hip-Hop feel, but the synths and ambient sounds take you right back into outer space.

Twilight aside, Thom Yorke has always been a fantastic, creative ARTIST. Whether it’s anything he did with Radiohead or even his solo “The Eraser" LP, it’s good stuff.

Hearing Damage

Ed Lover's C'Mon SON Part 6!!!

C'Mon Son! Get the fuck outta here with that shit!

I Hope This Doesn't Lead To Bad Luck

I swear, Sports Illustrated, I think you just messed this up and cursed my city with this...

Young Jeezy Double Play

Here's the newest from one of the South's better rappers. I don't know what the tracklist for "Thug Motivation 103" will look like. But these seem to be pretty good. Enjoy.

Trap Or Die 2
I Got This (Don't Worry)

Chris Brown Double Play

And so begins Chris Breezy's re-up. I'm sure that "Transform Ya" will get club and radio spins. Once you get used to the crazy ass Swizz Beatz track, it'll start to grow on you. Also included is a nice smooth track from "captain comeback". Hopefully he gets some of his fame back. You can't hate someone forever. Can you?

I Can Transform Ya ft. Lil Wayne, Swizz Beatz
So Cold

Shakira Double Play

This is the newest from Columbia's famous export. Hooking up with Timbaland and Lil Wayne should get her even more airplay than she already gets. Very good.

Give It Up To Me ft. Lil Wayne, Timbaland
She Wolf Remix ft. T-Pain

I gotta admit, I really like this guy. As a new artist, Wale is literally carrying an entire region on his back. I mean seriously, is there anyone else representing the D.C. area? Wale is the goods. Be one of the cool kids and get in on the ground floor before he explodes.

Chillin ft. Lady Gaga
Pretty Girls ft. Gucci Mane
Bittersweet ft. Colin Munroe
My Sweetie
Ice & Rain
Fly Away
Inhibitions ft. Pharrell

Alicia Keys- Doesn't Mean Anything+Video

Here is A. Keys newest. Pretty good song receiving plenty of radio play. If you don't have it, download and take a listen.

What I Want

Mr. Hudson ft. Kanye West "Supernova" Video

Mr. Hudson...

Here are a few random songs from the Kanye collaborator and soon to be break-out star. Some of these tracks maybe on his "Straight, No Chaser" album.

Straight No Chaser
Everything Is Broken ft. Kid Cudi
Anyone But Him ft. Kanye West
Supernova ft. Kanye West

Greg Laswell- "This Woman's Work"

This is a cover song of Maxwell's original from the late 90's. Not too bad of a cover. Of course, it's not the feel of Mr. Maxwell's, but it's still a good listen.

Greg Laswell- This Woman's Work

Alternative Post!!!.....Part 2

A nice little mixture of recent rock, pop, electronica and adult contemporary songs.
